New Critical Directions in Gambling Studies: An International Conference for Early Career Scholars will address current evolving issues within the gambling field and the specific needs of early career researchers. The conference will take place from September 3 to September 5, 2019, at the Longueuil Campus of the Université de Sherbrooke.

The full conference is open exclusively to early career researchers (up to 10 years post PhD) with an interest in gambling research.

Early Career Research Showcase: New Critical Directions in Gambling Studies
This event, featuring national and international speakers, aims to highlight novel research undertaken by up-and-coming researchers in the gambling field. This FREE event is open to the public and will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Longueuil Campus of the Université de Sherbrooke, as part of the New Critical Directions in Gambling Studies: An International Conference for Early Career Scholars.
*Simultaneous translation (French/English) will be available for this event.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CLOSED

The Virtual Poster Session is an opportunity for students and early career researchers in the gambling field to highlight their work to a broad audience of individuals attending the Early Career Research Showcase. During this event, posters will be projected onto screens and presenters will have an opportunity to speak about their research at an appointed time. The deadline for submission was July 31, 2019. Abstract submissions results can be expected in early August.
